“We had a fantastic experience! Great news for vegans and vegetarians: our host was incredibly thoughtful, selecting traditional Sicilian dishes that were naturally vegan and teaching us how to make them. Just mention your dietary preference when booking, and she’ll tailor the class accordingly. ♥️”

“Cooking with Ettore was an amazing experience. Etorre is extremly nice and has good english. He took us to the local market where we bought some fish and ingredients. Then we went to his kitchen and prepared pasta with seafood, fried mullet fish and eggplants with tomatoes and cheese. For desert we made some conolies and also had some briush with ricota. Everything was tasty.”

Learn Sicilian recipes with Carmen in Syracuse during a five-hour home cooking class with lunch, local products, wine, and pickup options.

“This was an absolutely wonderful experience and one of the highlights of my time in Sicily. We made arancini, stuffed calamari, and a refreshing lemon sorbet, and Carmen also prepared a beautiful orange, pomegranate, and fennel salad – everything was delicious, and I learned so much. But what made it truly special was Carmen herself. She is such a warm, kind, and genuine person that it honestly felt like cooking with family. Her passion for Sicilian food and her generosity in sharing her traditions created such a welcoming and joyful atmosphere. I would recommend this class to anyone – not just for the amazing food, but for the unforgettable experience…”

Learn to make arancini and cannoli with chef Ettore in Syracuse, shop the market, taste local wine, and enjoy a three-hour Sicilian food class.

“We had a wonderful afternoon with Ettore, who walked us through the market and introduced us to his many many friends and showed us the great Sicilian ingredients (no pressure to buy anything and Ettore buys all the ingredients you need for the cooking). We then went back to the seafront restaurant and learnt how to make arancini on the terrace overlooking the sea which was amazing! Ettore was so knowledgeable and welcoming and the food tasted delicious!”
